Ascension Lutheran School provides a Christ-centered education for preschool - 8th grade children. We are a full-time Christian educational institution, affording to every child that which cannot be found in any public establishment of its kind... A program balanced for the SOUL, the BODY and the MIND of the child. Ascension Lutheran School is a Christian School operated as a Lutheran Elementary School within Ascension Lutheran Church, Sarasota, Florida. Its supervision is directly under the Board for Christian Education of the congregation. We are one of more than 350 schools nationwide accredited by the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), the fourth-largest private school system in the United States.

SCHOOL ACCREDITATION

Our teachers have received their educational degrees from accredited Lutheran colleges. Ascension Lutheran School in Sarasota is nationally accredited through Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod School Accreditation (WELSSA) and National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA).
